We will do a review of the classic three-body problem on the morning of October 18th, with a significant amount of time reserved for discussion.  Simon Portegies Zwart will be visiting, and this general theme relates closely to many of his research interests.  We hope to maximize the scientific impact of this convergence of researchers to the CCA; this topic should work nicely to focus related research problems being explored by others at the CCA (planetary dynamics, compact objects, computer simulations, etc.).
