Description
Speaker: Geoff  Woollard

Topic: Computational experiments in Python: a place for everything, and everything in its place.

Abstract: How many computational experiments do you run in one week? The ability to run significantly more, and learn from them, can help projects iterate much faster towards publication. In this tutorial I will show some Python libraries that facilitate the rapid iteration of ideation, implementation, experimentation, and communication (e.b visualization). We will look at two recent projects I've been involved in that use these Python libraries: hydra, omegaconf, tensorboard, and wandb.
