Description

The goal of the project is to better understand the 3D structures of the gut microbiome proteins and their functions, in order to devise new microbiome-oriented therapies. We already made 3D structure predictions of 250,000 unique microbial protein families and developed a state-of-the-art function prediction method which uses both sequence and structure information Now, our focus is shifting towards the discovery of new protein folds and functional annotations of microbial metagenomes.
