Description

The workshop will gather a group of people who work on developing next generation general-relativistic (GR) kinetic plasma codes. These codes will be applied to understand accretion on black holes in our galaxy and M87, where the flow is expected to be collisionless. Kinetic approach in full GR is also necessary to understand the launching of astrophysical jets and mechanisms of particle acceleration near event horizons of black holes.
