DESCRIPTION:RHytHM: ResearcH using yt Highlights Meeting\, December 9-11\,
2020\n\n\nRecordings of all of the talks and lightning sessions can be fo
und HERE.\n\n\n\nJoin organizers: Stephanie Tonnesen\, Matthew Turk\, Madi
cken Munk and John Zuhone\n\nAnswering scientific questions using large da
tasets rich with information is often a matter of examining data in a new
and informative way. The ability to analyze and visualize data in physical
ly-meaningful ways is one of the most powerful uses of yt and has allowed
for its use across many scientific domains. In this meeting\, we aim to sh
are the ways in which yt has been used to enhance research.\n\n\nWe plan t
o have a series of talks in which people introduce their scientific proble
m to a diverse group of scientists (domain amateurs) and highlight how yt
was used in their research. We look forward to hearing about how yt slices
\, phaseplots\, and volume-rendering have been used\, interesting ways to
select data or an extension based on yt. We also hope to hear about yt use
s we have not yet considered!\n\nWe are striving for a really fun meeting
where users and developers alike can be excited to share what they are up
to!  As such\, please remember the yt code of conduct:  https://yt-proj
 ect.org/doc/developing/developing.html#yt-community-code-of-conduct\n\nhtt
