Project Spite House

I'll talk about an idea for a project, the goal of which is to create de novo designed proteins that will be difficult for machine-learning-based protein structure prediction algorithms/packages to fold. Many of these methods require deep multiple-sequence alignments (MSA) from which to derive constraints/knowledge which allow them to limit the folded structure and reduce the conformational space that needs to be searched. The culmination of these goals is to submit these sequences to the Critical Assessment of Structure Prediction (CASP).
