Dear Science Sandbox Awardees and Invited Guests,
We’re thrilled to host the first-ever Science Sandbox Awardee Summit, to take place at the Simons Foundation headquarters here in New York City on March 31st and April 1st, 2022.
Over the course of two days, we’ll provide opportunities for workshopping ideas and potential collaborations, share insights from our diverse and expansive community, and discuss/leverage the things that connect us as members of the burgeoning Science Sandbox community. Plus, there will be plenty of opportunities to network with your fellow awardees as well as with some special guests.
We will cover airfare/travel fare and hotel accommodations for those of you who reside outside of the New York City area. We’re asking that you plan to arrive the evening of Wednesday, March 30th, and depart the morning of Saturday, April 2nd - trust us, you’ll want to join us for the closing night party!
Science Sandbox is an initiative of the Simons Foundation dedicated to inspiring a deeper interest in science, especially among those who don’t think of themselves as science enthusiasts. We support and collaborate with programs that unlock scientific thinking in everyone. We’re so excited to bring you all together. Many more details soon.
