Description
This is an online course to help you improve your writing skills and understand the workings of high-profile journals.  The course is designed to help researchers communicate their work more effectively and learn how high-profile journals make decisions on manuscripts.
 

The course consists of a series of 26 video lessons (total training time: ~4 hours) plus a series of quizzes that each participant can watch at his/her own pace and convenience.

Following Indico registration, participants will receive the URL to create an account with a "coupon code" to start the course free of any charges.

Juan Carlos Lopez, creator of the course, was Chief Editor of Nature Medicine for 10 years before joining Roche as Head of Academic Relations and Collaborations.  He left Roche in 2016 and founded Haystack Science which offers a variety of advisory services for science publishing.
